Macau Scam

Scammers impersonate bank or government officials over the phone to deceive you into revealing personal banking details or transferring money to a third-party account.

Investment Scam

Victims are tricked into transferring money for supposed investments with promises of high returns. When they attempt to withdraw their funds, they are either asked for additional payments or find that the scammers are no longer reachable.

Love Scam

Scammers use fake dating profiles to deceive victims by pretending to seek romantic relationships. They gradually build trust to manipulate victims into transferring money to their accounts or disclosing credit card details.

Job Scam

Victims are promised payments for completing simple online tasks, but are required to use their own funds as capital. Scammers then demand additional payments to release the promised earnings or cut off contact entirely.

E-commerce Scam

Scammers pose as sellers on e-commerce platforms, tricking buyers into making payments for goods that are never delivered. Once paid, the scammer becomes uncontactable.

Loan/Financing Scam

Scammers lure victims with offers of low-interest loans, guaranteed approval, and no credit checks. Victims are often asked to pay an upfront fee, but the promised loan is never disbursed.

SMS Scam

Also known as smishing, scammers send fake messages posing as banks or service providers to steal personal information or trick victims into clicking malicious links.

Phishing

Scammers use fake emails, websites, or messages to steal sensitive information by disguising links and sender details to appear legitimate.

Malware

Malware infects devices to steal data, log keystrokes, or enable remote access, putting banking credentials and transactions at risk.
